Hi everyone!
GPU Audio have unveiled that the FIR Convolutuon Reverb is now available for MacOS. We're incredibly happy to be providing this FREE early access plugin to Apple users - by far the biggest request we've had this year !
Producers know that CPU spikes can really dampen a session, so the ability to offload this processing to devices already present in your machine is a huge innovation for the audio industry - and a chance for creative artists to get back in the musical flow.

Being traditionally one of the most processor intensive plugin effects out there, this FIR Convolver is the perfect audio tool to try out GPU Audio on your Apple M1 & M2 machines. We have plans to support older models too!
GPU Audio offers huge gains over conventional CPU DSP, with the incredible possibility of parallel processing your plugins - making way for ultra low latencies, vast scalability and live Machine Learning.
We'll have an SDK coming early next year, as well as a unique GPU powered synthesizer, entitled Major. The SDK will bring GPU Audio software to third party developers for a paradigm-shifting selection of new plugins - taking advantage of the vast underutilised power of GPU processing.
What would you like to see from GPU Audio next year?
Enjoy!
Chris

I'm sure it is! This is our FIRST release for Mac as an Early Access plugin; we have to start off getting things right before we can start dreaming big.Tj Shredder wrote: Tue Dec 20, 2022 1:28 pm A convolution based synth/sampler seems to be a perfect match for GPU processing…
We will have some ground breaking plugins next year, but for the time being, see this as an early proof of concept.
