It's time for me to invest in a quality chair with ergonomic support for several hours in front of my computer. I've looked at a few different ones and I was curious to see if anyone had any opinions about Secretlab's TITAN Evo 2022 Series chairs. They're advertised as "gaming chairs" but seem to have enough customization options to be a good fit for music production as well. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

If you can get a Herman Miller Aeron.
I was incredibly fortunate to pick up one of these ex-factory for a ludicrously cheap price about 25 years ago. It's still going strong now, and is incredibly comfortable. I've done many very long sessions in this chair (12 hours +) and never had a hint of back or neck issues, which I can be otherwise prone to. The chair is probably the one thing I'd most miss out of all my studio if it was gone. Most gamers chairs are crap in comparison.

Thank you both for the recommendations. I hadn't heard of these particular manufacturers but I'm very impressed with the specifications and build quality on their websites. It looks like top-notch engineering went into designing their lines of chairs. I wish buying a new chair wasn't so expensive, but I guess it's a little like buying monitors... you get what you pay for.
At 48 years-old, I'm dealing with back pain from years of bad seating positions and a couple of injuries. My most recent chair was a simple office chair and although I liked the appearance, it didn't do anything to actually support my spine in a healthy manner. That chair has finally broken and it's time to take my overall health more seriously. Back cramps or muscle spasms are no fun when I'm creatively "in the zone". It takes away my attention from the music and it's time to put an end to that.
Thanks again for the replies. I'd still appreciate any other suggestions or user experiences. Cheers!!

Some other manufacturers I've looked into are Haworth and Steelcase - both are the same tier as Herman Miller (imo).
I found this Youtube channel informative while I was searching for my chair (if not for anything else than their pros/cons descriptions): https://www.youtube.com/@btodtv

Also, I personally decided to avoid gaming chairs - I just feel that they try to sell chairs more on looks than function, and I err on getting the right tool for the job. Just my .02c

I ended up swapping my plastic lawn chair for an egg chair outdoor and it’s been a game‑changer for my evenings. The water‑resistant cushion stayed dry after a sudden rain, and the UV‑protected shell hasn’t faded despite weeks of sun. The colour options let it blend right in with the garden vibe.
