I guess downloading and installing wouldn‘t be a problem, but authorizing would require it. With ASC you can have a silent install for multiple products.
Only for offline authorization it could make sense to download the installers separately. But what a hassle, I would rather have it online just for installation/authorization…

Some bugs
Sometimes the plugin does not update it's changes , for example fast switching between drive post or pre filter , sometimes the drive is post while the gui clearly shows is pre ( see osciloscope) , same for dirty and clean filter .

Envelope follower animation graphics dissapearing , and buttons for clean-dirty self osc mode dissapearing.(see screenshot)

NOt a bug bug the dirty filter ( self osc enabled ) it's verry hard tofind a sweet resonant spot , it's either completely self oscillating or not , no in between setting for a nice resonant filter, which is possible with the clean mode .

if arturia is reading this thread:
please put the clean/dirty as a switch more prominently into the interface
(there is room enough on the main panel imho)
imho dropdown menus are a terrible pita...

nice filter and distortion. thanks for the freebie.
to my ears, cytomic the drop sounds more detailed.
don't know if it sounds like a real ms20 filter.

/applies filter, lowers cut off frequency.

But will it blend?
Does it taste better with jello?
I think it sounds a bit congested right at 253.4Hz, otherwise the resonance pretty much rocks.
Why not MS-22? After all it's 22 not 20 anymore...

After playing with for a while , it wont give you the same result as their ms 20 plugin which sounds glorious .
ON the effect plugin there is always a low frequency bump present ( clean and dirty filter mode )
The vst MS20 only has the low freq bump in the less cpu intensive mk 2 setting ( ota )
So, when using the vst plugin in mk1 setting ( K35 filter thus no bumb ) going into the filter effect , the bump is always there , regardless filter type.
So I assume that the filter effect is just the ota version (mk2) with some minor tweaking and doesn't have the K35 (mk1 ) setting ,which would explain the low cpu footprint on both filters compared to the vst .

Are you reporting all your findings to Arturia?gentleclockdivider wrote: Tue Dec 27, 2022 4:07 pm After playing with for a while , it wont give you the same result as their ms 20 plugin which sounds glorious .
