Not effects but fav plugins for me would be novum and phoscyon2.
Novum is just different to anything else I own and I really like 303's and phoscyon2 complements Abl3 nicely.

Termless - Like Dormant, this has become my go-to modern metal amp.
Whammo - Whammy bar that doesn't produce artefacts.
LUveler - Gain leveller, great for podcast production.
That's all my 2022 plugins.

Phoscyon is fun, and I can spend hours with it. It makes great sounds as well.
Graindad is just as fun and cool and great sounding.
Put them together, and WTF.

Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Too early to say but probably Kult.
Moogerfoogers are awfully good too though.

UVI Dual Delay X — quickly turned into the delay I usually try first unless there’s a preset or specific sound I have in mind. Really quick and easy to get a good sound out of it.

There were several great releases and upgrades this year. Falcon 2.8 was great, Phase Plant reaching the 2. Arturia upped Pigments to 4 and V collection hitting 9 with some great additions like the augmented instruments (Augmented seems the Cinematic of 2022….). Arturia’s effects collection 3 with Coldfire and Fragments. Pianoteq 8 now also playing guitar. Dawesome with Novum and Kult. Cherry Audio was on the roll with ElkaX, Sines and the wonderful GX-80 (If you count the Arturia CS-80V 4 a new release than 2 CS-80’s in one year!). Shaperbox 3, U-he MFM 2.5 and Polverse Supermodal still need more attention. I’m not sure if I like the upgrade to Korg Collection 4 that much but I think Opsix, Wavestate and now also Modwave native are in my opinion the best sounding synths of this year. My favourite of the bunch being the Wavestate native. It is incredibly deep, great sound and I play/program a lot with it. Synths are bit like beer, the first one means a lot and you get sticked to the brand.
What will it be next year? The mysterious Synapse Audio HZ synth..or is it just… Dune 4. Zebra 3 perhaps? I’m afraid that Dawesome keeps on producing interesting synths with new multidimensional math. Falcon 3.0 with a new browser and yet another new type of oscillator, Arturia V collection 10 with the minifreak and an Augmented Guitar (I prefer Drums). AAS will include al the Tassman stuff in Multiphonics. Steve Duda retakes the plugin market with Serum 2. I will finally get a licence for Omnisphere 3 which now includes a CPU-melting acoustic modelled burning piano
