VW2 is amazing because you can use it different ways. You can let it be subtle, or create chaos in drum buss. If they were to release VW3, I don't even know what new features it would have.

Vintage Warmer is an incredible compressor, EL-B actually turned me onto it when I was watching a video of him producing back in 07

PSP Saturator is what I am loading up 80% of the time I need any kind of saturation now. The rest of my saturation plugins are great! The workflow and sound on the PSP are just what I'm after more often than not. PSP Impressor is cool... a little weird to use with how they've split the input gain and threshold/ratio combination control. If input and compression knobs were closer together it'd be better I think. If the compression knob was fully unlinked then I'd usually prefer to link threshold and output or input and output gain rather than ratio and threshold (assuming that's what's been linked, which is a little weirder to control with a separate input knob)

But God damn that PSP Saturator is fat. The Warmth parameter... so wonderful. Even if it's doable with other plugins/routing, the workflow and the sound I love.

Thank you for the recommendation. I tried the EMT out last night and it sounds wonderful; one of the smoothest plate reverbs I've heard. I think it's on sale for $20 right now through Plugin-Alliance's EXT program, at least through the weekend.

Yeah PSP rocks and always has.

I just used Pianoverb on my One Synth Challenge submission, it's a bit of a cheatcode for getting a good acoustic piano sound out of basic subtractive synths.

I admire the soft clipper on Precursor 2, I wish they'd release a clipper based on this output section. Nothing got past it, it worked better than some limiters.

I only have Twin-L, now, I don't use this very much. Low CPU usage, except the E27, which is good, but didn't work for my workflow. I'm leaning more toward Acustica and 3rd parties these days. I even prefer IKM EQ to most other algorithmic options.

I remeber having a PSP plugin or 2 way back. I may need to look into that. Maybe I have an outstanding authorization.

I just picked up the E27. Sounds great, and I dig the duplicate mode. Very convenient.

I'm also considering the NobleQ. But I have a few Pultec style EQs that I like, and am also considering Overloud's EQP. I will like only grab one if any at all. Recently organising my plugins while demoing Cubase reminded me I have WAY to many plugins.

They have been going for more than 25 years now and sport a pretty wide range of products - these include some useful compressors and the usual array of delays and modulation plugins. They do really good deals for existing customers so many of their plugins are no-brainers with the usual intro discounts at launch. They have a Leslie simulation - I wondered if they were going to release a Hammond sim to match but they seem to have stayed out of the virtual instrument game.

And they literally just announced PSP285 on their social media platforms few hours ago.

I'm not sure I would buy PSP42 and especially PSP85 at this very moment, unless they disclose very special discounts or upgrade paths to those who buy the old versions in sight of PSP285.

Thanks for the heads up…I was most interested in the lexicons….and just added the other stuff cause I thought what the heck why not….

Wonder if PSP 85 owners get and upgrade discount…

Damn I thought they were in the process of updating the 42 but maybe they just re-did the whole thing. That ones kinda special as it's the PCM42 so I hope they don't get rid of it. The 285 doesn't seem like its going for the whole old Lexicon model thing, but we only have 6 seconds so far.

Who’s still stoked on PSP?
