Hello all, hope you all had and have a very very peaceful xmas all the time and enjoy making music:)
I used a few of the ideas you gave me her and right now, the sound is much much better.
Lots of the deep bumping is gone and it sounds much more free and open:)
Thank you all a lot and may your time be full of inspiration and love:)

I wanna add a bit more.
1. Try to mix or play music on relatively low level. It will partly remove excess of low frequencies and their reflections.
2. Is it possible to place your table diagonally? If yes, do it. Monitor in a corner is a problem but there is another one, asymmetric position of monitors. It will be better to place both monitors in similar conditions.
3. Just change placement of your monitors. Move them as you can. And then listen to them. Repeat again and again and compare how they sound. Sometimes it helps. Find the best placement by ear.

Why not save your relationship even further and use some good neutral headphones? 150 dollar investment is all it takes
