IKM’s installation is the worst in this universe.

No way.

The Product Manager keeps you up to date and downloads & installs the latest versions for you. That’s already better than most developers.

And that’s before you take into account that IK gives you an unheard of 10 authorizations, and lets you reclaim them through the Product Manager.

You’re never going to worry about running out of authorizations with IK.

One area for improvement would be if Mac and Windows sounds installers were combined for SampleTank. The sound files themselves are the same, only the installers are different, so having separate downloads makes no sense and just wastes space and bandwidth.

I just noticed it installed MODO Bass 2, but I thought it was (according to their website) going to be v1.5. I am not complaining at all

but am just wondering if I missed any news about that. (?) I did notice some of the bass models are locked. Also MODO Drum is at v1.5 for the install and it shows v1 on the site.

It’s probably just the SE version. IK does that, it looks like you suddenly own all kinds of exciting things, but when you look in the info it’s just the freebie version.

Well, I had v1 before, so this is still an improvement.

Also, Modo Bass 2 SE isn't a free product, but the CS version is.

Bought it (Total Max 3.5....$199) yesterday and I am Pi@#$%^ed !! half of what they say is included is not !! E.G.....I don't have the option to download Philharmonik 2 and most of the other stuff is locked telling me I have to buy it !!! I have received a serial but I wanted Philharmonik 2 and everything that was promised. The last thing I need is 100 dopey synth sounds from the 80's....I have reached out to them but no response yet. If I don't get what is promised on their website i will pursue this legally and if the same thing happens to you I would encourage the same response...

TS3.5MAX is a huge bundle, and it is easy to get lost. But it certainly does include Miroslav Philharmonik. If you cannot find it in the IK Product Manager, I am sure that Technical Support will be able to sort out the problem. Note that their working hours are US East Coast, week-days generally. Threatening legal action at this stage seems a bit early.

Did you Register the Serial Number(s) in the IK Product Manager? And then Authorize the installed products.

Yes ...and there is no other place to see my products. Online it says Total Max 3.5...but the products are cs....usually limited which with what I have is true. ....that got my attention since it is advertised differe3ntly...

Did you click on the Sounds tab in the IK Product Manager to see what shows up there?

Authorizing solved the problem.....otherwise products are not shown and you get "free" stuff plus a little

I have the same problem with Modo Drums + Bass 2 bundle. IKM doesn't bother to answer the ticket, but despite they announce that the product comes with all models unlocked, I do not have that. With some of the drum kits it changed to a download icon after re-auth, but I already downloaded everything before.. so no idea how that is actually supposed to work..

Just to clarify, it sounds like the bundle does in fact include Modo Bass 2 and Modo Drums 1.5? Or is it really the older versions? I ask because - at least for Modo Bass - only version 2 is listed as Apple Silicon native https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1412.

No, it’s 1.5. Everyone gets excited when they see Modo Drums 2.0 in their account - that’s just the free version.

I mean… their “TOTAL STUDIO MAX” bundle should include the latest of everything. I imagine that 1.5 is not apple silicon native.

Is there a modest upgrade fee from 1.5 to 2
