Just minutes ago I was doing a project in Ableton 11.2.6 before I noticed that new version available. My mistake was not saving properly (collect all and save) and I just pressed regular save button, closed the project and did a clean Ableton re-install (like I always do with updates) and updated to version 11.2.7
When I opened my project after update, it notified I had the missing Snare sample "Snare 808 Airy Reverb.aif".
Can someone confirm that it exists on their machine?
I must add that before update Ableton, I also deleted one downloaded Pack (Beat Tools), so perhaps that sample was from that pack? Could samples from packs mix with regular stock Ableton Suite drum samples, even though I was not using that pack at all? Anyway, if someone could check on their machines would be very helpful.
Did Ableton 11.2.6 to 11.2.7 update, missing sample, maybe someone has it?

Confirmed: I have it in my 11.2.7 (Drums->Drum Hits->Snare->Snare 808 Airy Reverb.aif)

We shall see orchestral machines with a thousand new sounds, with thousands of new euphonies, as opposed to the present day's simple sounds of strings, brass, and woodwinds. -- George Antheil, circa 1925 ---

Thank you! Do you have any ableton packs installed? Could it be a snare from a pack? Or can one only get to samples in a particular pack only by going to Places > Packs?gnu23 wrote: Wed Dec 28, 2022 10:56 pm Confirmed: I have it in my 11.2.7 (Drums->Drum Hits->Snare->Snare 808 Airy Reverb.aif)
EDIT:
Nevermind! Just quickly downloaded again Beat Tools myself and checked. It has this sample. So now I know that samples from Packs can indeed mix together with stock samples
(Categories>Drums>Drum Hits>Snare>[all available samples from all packs])
