I have updated my submission, and removed all instances of Valahalla Supermassive + FreqEcho, as well as CamelCrusher.

Great, it would have been sad for a very nice track to have dq'd ... sorry to have raised it, but it was with your interests (and the track's!) at heart.abot81 wrote: Thu Dec 29, 2022 1:41 am I have updated my submission, and removed all instances of Valahalla Supermassive + FreqEcho, as well as CamelCrusher.

Im used to adding Valhalla on stuff normally and rolling with some of the presets for inspiration. This would only be my 2nd round so not used to looking out for some of the OSC stuff.
The piece sounds much the same; it definitely wasn’t relying on it so more than happy to swap it out.

Hi everyone!
First time i seen WaveManuel i thought about a kind of cheaptune synth, but on the contrary i can say that it has a rich and smooth frequency response. Creamy, cheesy... but also tight and crispy if you need. I also like the wave visual aid in top right, like the way it produce stereo signal output with lfo and also like its simple tweaking.
It made crashes Reaper thousand times, so a better stability is needed. Withouth too many upgradings i'd like also to see a delay fx and a mod wheel assignable with all the parameters.
Was funny working with it! Congrats to the developer!

Yeah, I think the freq shift echo thing was the original eyebrow raiser....no need to go full on dry f#%kMadMcMan wrote: Thu Dec 29, 2022 8:06 pm Valahalla Supermassive is grand as long as you're not doing extreme stuff with it and camel crusher too if its not excessive saturation.
Just a touch of EQ and a tickle of compression

How did you pitch glide between notes? Was that a thing with the “1-voice”? I just got glitchiness when that option was used.ZioMau wrote: Thu Dec 29, 2022 9:05 pm Hi everyone!

Hi, first of all i really like your track! Pitch glide was done everywhere simply moving the pitch bend lever. Sometimes in bass lines bendings i drew automation of midi pitch bending controller. Didn't touch synth controllers or effects parameters to do bendings.abot81 wrote: Fri Dec 30, 2022 12:34 amHow did you pitch glide between notes? Was that a thing with the “1-voice”? (Sorry but what...[where] "1-voice" option is?)

Ahh that makes sense! I can’t remember if I tried that or not. I thought it was done really well in your track!ZioMau wrote: Fri Dec 30, 2022 4:20 pmHi, first of all i really like your track! My first entry since OSC120. It's been a while. I'm sure there are plenty of improvements (both major and minor) I could make but it's time to push it out the door.
