Hey! ,I have alot of ableton projects that were created using live suite (which I sold the license a while ago)
I want to take advantage of the current 25% saving of ableton live standard 11 and don't really need suite
Can I open the my old suite projects with a standard license

Yes, you can open Live Suite projects on any version of Live, including Lite. Although, the limitations of the respective version will apply.
Let's say one of your projects uses some instruments that are only included in Live Suite, you won't be able to save that project with Live Standard, unless you replace that instrument/effect with something else. Apart from this, you should be fine.
