Thanks for all the positive feedback, folks !

I won't be able to listen to these until later tonight, and I'm not a Reason user so it'll take a few to set up, but I love free stuff! Thanks!

Any chance of getting the raw WAV/AIFF files for those of us who aren't Reason users?

Post

I just had a listen to some of the sounds (Gregs dads 1970 recordings got in the way ;)). These samples are excellent! I found use for some of them imedeatly (how to spell!?)!

Shouldn't be a problem

this isn't refills, they arent on the proprietary format

And they are all, with a very few exceptions, based on one single samples

I turned all samples in WAV format ( i though about you, PC based folks, you know !)

And the programs have a very few and well defined templates ;

one shot
(sustained whatever are the sustain/release parameters)

Pianistic envelopes
( as said,...some velocity on volume and eventually on filter + sustain pedal option)

Legato
(looped samples, long attack, highest sustain, long release)

that's it !

You don't need much experience in sampler's editing to do your own patches, you'll just have mostly to tune your sample correctly and then choose the right envelope's parameters...

And as much as i know you may easily find a sampler that can convert REX2 files in it's own format
(do you have EXS24 MkII for instance ?)

On the "recycle convert" window you've got a submenu in there you'll choose "slice loop a make new instrument"

This for the rx2 files ...for the others i'm afraid you'll need to start from scratch

but trust me it shouldn't be a big pain...

Good work. I liked a lot of them. Thanks!

The link doesn't work... Is that temporarily?

3 hours later 86% downloaded and the server is down. Maybe your ISP did not appreciate this.

Well...that's too bad,

i should ask Spaceman what's the point because he kindly hosted my sampls

...i'm not experienced yet in hosting a doalowdable stuff, i suppose they are too much links ( 4 simultaneous ) to his site

My mistake, i'm afraid...

Sepheritoh, i'm sorry for you, this could get terribly on your nerves !
