Ohmboyz replacement?

Ohmboyz was my favorite delay a few years ago because of its ability to generate dynamic, dirty overloaded feedback loops with filter modulation. I haven't been able to find another delay plugin that sounds anything like it. I tried the Ohmboyz Infinity, but it doesn't really sound the same and seems unfinished.
Any suggestions for a good replacement?

I recommend to avoid 2getheraudio plugins. They were apparently bought out by InMusic and abandonwared, except the store front where they happily continue to sell unmaintained products. YMMV

To be honest, I've given them a lot of crap for the way they went about Infinity, but I just installed it and it works great on my Windows machine inside Bitwig.

Sandman pro is great for this. The filters are pretty simple but the mod system distortion and other FX make crazy distorted feedback easy and fun. Honestly though I still just use ohmboyz for the stuff it does well. The per parameter lfos and multiple predelay taps along with their crispy filters still work wonderfully for me.
Why are you swapping it out? Just curious. Also, since you use bitwig, you can insert all types of stuff into the built in BW delay FX feedback path and get really crazy with just the BW devices and even crazier with a small chain of strange plugins (I really love popping SC Permut8 and MXXX into the feedback and getting very weird with filtering and randomly delayed feedback. This gets even more fun when you use one of the FX switching containers to swap between a couple different delay chains.
Really though ohmboyz is still the same, so unless you have a compatibility issue I'd just keep on using it since it does what you want.
Also UHE MFM can get really dirty and fun if you really want to go another route. I think it's been updated but I haven't checked out the new version/beta as I've been working on some big non musical projects as of late and haven't been in the studio much.

Check out the delays Imaginando make, it could suit what you're looking for.

Why can't you just use Ohmboyz, you can't buy it anymore I guess, but it should still be available to anyone who purchased it in their account. I just downloaded it to install under windows 10 as I had forgot about it since switching from win 8 heh...

Thanks everyone for the input. I need Apple Silicon support, so I'm looking for an alternative that is still being maintained. I'll check out MFM2, but I'm actually getting mostly what I'm looking for with Arturia's Eternity and Brigade.

Putting things in Bitwig’s Delay plugin’s feedback paths is awesome. Bluecat Audio’s Late Replies is really good too, as you can host plugins per tap.Ah_Dziz wrote: Sat Dec 31, 2022 6:16 am Also, since you use bitwig, you can insert all types of stuff into the built in BW delay FX feedback path and get really crazy with just the BW devices and even crazier with a small chain of strange plugins (I really love popping SC Permut8 and MXXX into the feedback and getting very weird with filtering and randomly delayed feedback. I still miss Ohmboyz. Actually, Mobilohm as well...still not found as powerful and swirly a phaser as that (though that Virus emu one is good...Razor or something? But doesn't do a fraction of what Mobilohm did). My old pc with them completely died, and even if I could have retrieved them they're all 32bit I thought? Pretty sure Cubase won't touch them with a bargepole nowadays. I'll have to check out Sandman...any other Ohmboyz replacement recommendations? I love Valhalla delay but it doesn't do everything.
