That's awesome!
Yep, we are are very excited about this :D

As well as being high-dpi graphics and resizable UI, The new native version will also have tons of new feature enhancements, such as audio export and stem export, modular parameter sequencer (right click any control and assign it to a sequencer lane), new DSP across the board, expansions capabilities, user sample bulk import, and much much more. Best of all it'll be a free update to those who own the current version. So for those interested in this, now is a perfect time to purchase TRIAZ at the current price :tu:

We will be entering beta with TRIAZ native in January. So we should be looking at Spring time for release, all being well :tu:

We are also working on a follow up to our Revolution drum machine, which again will be native, and will include over 40 drum machine emulations (with the ability to add more via expansions).

Likewise! It's been a long road, but we are very excited to be able to move on from Kontakt. As well as TRIAZ and a new version of Revolution, we also have multiple other plugins in the works. The next one coming as soon as the end of January, all being well :tu:

Good luck with all the new, Dan (is it Dan?)

Maybe one day give some love to Bassynth.

OMG, I just saw this. Add me to the list of people super stoked for Wave Alchemy outside of Kontakt. Maybe I can finally be rid of XO and Battery. So cool. So cool!

Upvote the BassSynth request also...

We'd like to do something with BASSYNTH too, but this will come a lot later. It's at least a full year of development, or possibly more :D

We'd really like to create a synth that could load BASSYNTH as an expansion within it. So, essentially a flagship synth engine that is like an improved / evolved version of BASSYNTH, which could load BASSYNTH as an expansion.

Frozen Plain developed Mirage to escape the Kontakt limitions and fees.
There's obviously a trend (which I understand).

Absolutely! In fairness, the Kontakt fees are quite low these days and don't concern us, especially since we generally purchase a very large amount of serials (several thousand) and this lowers the cost to a very small amount per serial on our newer products. It's more the limitations and clunkiness of Kontakt in general that bothers us (and seemingly some of our customers).

Going native is an enormous cost - we essentially put back in every penny we made from TRIAZ to build the native version. But it gives us freedom to do whatever we want, and ultimately will give everyone a better product and better features. So long term, it's a win for sure :D

We can now of course also develop our own DSP and have also worked closely with Jon Ville (from Fircomp 2 fame - one of the best compressors ever made in my opinion) to provide the dynamics and transient shaping for TRIAZ native.

@wave alchemy - This is all such wonderful news!! Like others, I've been patiently waiting for the day that you would break free from Kontakt. It sounds like you have a whole new world opening up going Native. I've been a long time customer and I'm really excited to see these developments. I knew you could pull it off. 2023 is starting out really well. Cheers!! :tu:

Dont forget ppl wont buy anything that is kontakt related. Me included. I have your revolution/drumvolution and triaz. Those products suffer so hard from the kontakt environment it is sad really. It is just TOO DAMN SMALL @ NI. I am happy that you helped me out a while ago with providing the samples (plain wavs) outside of the kontakt plugin, still appreciating that!!

Kontakt is autoskip for me.

There are definitely people who won't purchase Kontakt based instruments for the reasons above. You are correct, no doubt. There is still however an enormous group of people who will purchase them. We are just happy to be in a position where we can rebuild old products / build new products without it, and it will be a good thing for everyone moving forward, no doubt :tu:

Creating our products in Kontakt initially has been quite good in several ways however, as it has allowed us to perfect user experience, listen to feedback and then apply what we've learned to the native version. Creating native plugins to the complexity of something like TRIAZ is no easy task, and very expensive. So without going the Kontakt route first and reinvesting those profits, we'd have never been able to build something like TRIAZ without either a massive bank loan, or external investment - neither of which I am a fan of.

You'll see the route we've taken with other companies, such as both Spitfire and Output to name a couple of examples :D

In all honesty i cannot imagine a native version ever going to be as deep as is possible with Kontakt.

The sheer amount of different fx and filters in Kontakt will be very hard to replace, let alone all the routing possibilities and playback options. So for a native version offering these kind of things you'll end up with either a recreation of Kontakt, or a crippled instrument.

I for one use Revolution with a lot of Kontakt's own possibilities, and cannot imagine a native version ever including all that stuff. Even looking at basic stuff like pitching/stretching or filtering, i think it will be hard to make a native version which will even get close to what's possible in Kontakt.

I would rather like to see stuff supporting either Falcon and/or Halion, or even Battery, then a limited native version.

But i wish them good luck. Maybe it'll attract some new customers. But i for one hope that it won't be the dead of their Kontakt support.
