(WINDOWS 11) Bitwig project files not associating with latest install

This is an issue. Every time we update to a newer version of Bitwig, all project files still associate with the older version. You will notice it quick if you uninstall the older version. In file explorer all project files will turn to white icons. Clicking them will do nothing. To fix it each time, we have to go into windows settings and manually associate the project files with the proper version of Bitwig (the one showing the orange logo). For some reason the older version of Bitwig will still show up as an option within file association after it is uninstalled. Pretty strange stuff here. I guess Bitwig likes to keep everything very different.
