Ok, this one needs to be renamed "Comparing One Ping Only With One Ping Only With One Ping Only”.

Yet the pings in Hive 2 are really organic compared to the pings in Hive 2. About on par with those from One Ping Only. Just not similar to those in One Ping Only.

Man I bought Hive 2 last week, and I wish I would've waited to see this thread. I would've scrapped it and bought Hive 2 instead dammit!!

I'm confused. I'd like to see a thread that compares all threads in which Hive 2 is compared to itself *and* to others. I'm sure such a thread will show that this thread is best, but how can we know without it?

The question is whether it makes sense to compare two Hive 2s that were bought in the same week or month. I mean after some time same gear tends to sound differently depending on usage, room temperature, humidity etc.
Some PCs get hotter than others depending on cooling system / fan.
Maybe also the folder the serial number was stored plays a role, too, if you buy from a dealer they have different folders, so is it an old or new folder, is it free from dust etc?! Download link, which server? It could also influence the quality, it is similar to the delivery service of hardware, was it handled with care, stored in a clean and heated warehouse ...? Lots of things to be considered.
That's why it might make sense to buy a plugin you like again after one or two years!
