How come there are no ensemble patches, or am I missing something? Its a PITA to have to load 5 separate instances for 1 ensemble patch.

Probably because 99% of the customer base wouldn't use it that way.

You could create an ensemble in Unify I suppose, but personally with a library like that I wouldn't use ensembles, so I think tehlord is right.

If this is five soloists as supposedly an ensemble, that’s generally a bad idea, as unrealistic psychoacoustically. Particularly a sting as a group, owing to differences in individuals approaches, an element is missing faking that.

Maybe there is a typo. The Threadopener could have meant: Hans Zimmer stinks.

I mean the 5 sections, I'm a piano player but sort of new to orchestral, I just like to have a full range to play and improvise with, in any compositions I'd use it 'properly' or not. I got Majestica 2 and NI Series as well so should be good to go...

Sometimes it's the typos that open up completely new perspectives for thinking and evaluating.
"stings" can mean:

1. stings --- the same as "prick, lance, hurt"
2. strings --- the same as "cord, lace" - perhaps you think about it as violin strings or
viola strings? Some details here would be nice.
3. stinks --- the same as "smell bad, spong, cheese off"

This raises the question of whether Hans Zimmer drew attention to himself with his olfactory
aura peculiarities, or whether he likes to attack fellow musicians, or whether violins recorded in
his name could be problematic.
