Here's my violin for you to try. Its got 2 layers...
the lighter touch being straight notes and the heavier touch some of my licks...If anybody wants to tweek it..go ahead..I think a couple heavier samples are a little loud..just haven't had the time to do it..

most grateful
you're way to kind
now all i need is a soundfond player that combines stretch and pitch and morph amongst different layers in your font, making it possible to play portamento without slight "chipmunk" side effects ! also a vibrato knob wouldn't be superfluous luxury in a soundfontplayer.
I could edit the sound to death but i think a course in playing the violin gives not only a better but also a quicker result.
A very useful font for making organic violin pads and such
Do you have some more info on how many layers you used per key ?

Link down? Not working for me (neither for the MP3 or the SF2).
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

a soundfont is not a font.
a soundfont is an instrument using multiple samples
to use a soundfont, try getting SFZ (see under instruments tab)
drag and drop, or load it
