Does anyone know where I can get the synth profiles disk for Midi Quest 10? I've had Midi Quest 10XL for years but stupidly never bought the DVD version as I assumed [wrongly] that SoundQuest would continue to support it through their website. I never upgraded my version of Midi Quest as I haven't bought any new synths in ages. Recently an Alesis Micron landed in my lap and seeing how the front-panel editing is so fiddly, I thought I'd just quickly download the profile from SoundQuest but, lo and behold, they've pulled the support for MidiQuest 10 leaving nothing but an empty FTP folder and 3 placeholder files.

Sure, Midi Quest 12 supports the Micron but it would cost me more to upgrade my current version of MidiQuest 10 that what I paid for the Micron. I've contacted SoundQuest but I'm not expecting much joy from them.

You need to install ctrlr framework first, it works a treat though, I have it for Miniak.

Midiquest is such a let down.

Still hanging on the Emagic Sounddiver looks and feel. I was so stupid to buy v11 and instead of adding more modern machines, they expect that you buy a full version again.

I do not need it anymore as I have since then gone fully ITB, but yeah the suggested CTRL.org stuff is much better
Those AUs work at least when creating them for working inside your DAW, not so with midiquest.

I looked in my backup disk if I had any MQ profiles saved, but Ive erased it all
