I guess just "host" is not what you want.
(You can have your own website / domain for the cost of less than a cup of coffee per month and host whatever you want)
What else are your requirements?
Would an upload to youtube with hq audio work?

I suppose. I'd just like to have a place to occasionally upload songs in decent quality and share them when I want to. Don't really feel the need to be part of a 'community.' This is the only online community to which I belong.

If you just want to upload and share links etc then Infinity Free is pretty good webspace for nowt - no bandwidth limits, online FTP etc;
