Hello everybody! Nice to be on this forum.
My name is Joël Dollié and I am a french mixing engineer (I work a lot with orchestral music).
I wanted to introduce you to my new plug-in company and also my first ever product, roomwidener.
This is basically a parallel chain that mixes in transparent stereo swapped neutral ''early reflection like'' delays in order to give room depth and width to most sounds, mono or stereo, although it was first designed for stereo sounds. It's great as a pre stage before extra reverb.

If you're curious there's a demo!
Cheers,
Joël

After some tests with different reverbs, I'll have to say that this option is quite interesting in giving the source just a bit of a "room" sensation.
It also helps to make the reverb being part of the whole instead of just being added to the source.
Sublte but efficient.
There's some others ways to get that type of effect depending of what your after, but this one proved to be quite convenient so far.
Really's worth a look (hear) at IMHO.

Thanks for the kind feedback guys, glad you like it.
Subtle space is exactly what this is for. For headphone users, it also makes much more of a difference since L and R are isolated. Makes you way more sensitive to these things.
And yes do use it pre reverb. It's great if you want width and keep a subtle tail so you don't have to drown everything.
Or just as a subliminal "chorus" for vocals. This method will also be cleaner and less transformative than a chorus as there's no detuning.
And "Salut les français

Interesting plugin. VAT @ €5.80 is not so interesting. I'll have to pass.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Well I couldn't say no to that. Thank you very much. My order went through!
