Alex Hilton seems to have omitted this in his release notes, but it would appear his latest release of the free A1TriggerGate VST3 v1.4.3 for the Mac is now Silicon compliant.

Waldorf released a new version of the Waldorf Collection, PPG Wave 2 and D-Pole are native but word from Waldorf is that Attack is never getting native Apple Silicon support. Too bad, of course to me that's the real reason to own the collection.

I can't speak for the database but Waldorf Edition 2 went native many months ago. WE2_install_Mac_2.3.1.zip contains a pkg dated April 6 2022. This installs v2.3.1 of D-Pole, PPG Wave 2.V and Attack. The first two are native.danatkorg wrote: Sat Jan 07, 2023 1:04 amOld news? I think WE2 went native at the same time as PPG Wave 3. AFAIK, Waldorf Lector and Largo still rely on Rosetta. Odd they would EOL Attack when they are also selling it for iOS.

Not to be a pedant, but Waldorf Edition 2 isn't native if 1 out of the three plug ins is running only in Rosetta and will never be updated to Apple Silicon. They say it's a total rewrite to make it Apple Silicon, and unfortunately the iPad OS app hasn't been updated since 2015 according to their app store post. It apparently still runs on the latest iPad OS though. I'll reply to the tech support request I made on Attack VST/AU and see if they might move on making an AU3 version that you can use in Mac OS. That would do, looks like the iPad OS version is better anyway.kidslow wrote: Sat Jan 07, 2023 4:05 amI can't speak for the database but Waldorf Edition 2 went native many months ago. Still can't drag a sample in to Battery from within Cubase. Half hoped they'd implement this with VST3dayjob wrote: Mon Jan 09, 2023 1:53 pm NI Battery 4 now updated to be apple silicon native and also has VST3 version.

Oh wow I totally missed that Native Instruments *finally* updated the majority of their line to support AS and the notes about Battery got me to take a look to see that just about everything is now native. I will look for the next big sale to update from my ancient Komplete 6 purchase. (The good thing is that they seem to offer the same upgrade pricing no matter how old your Komplete is.) I think their biggest sale is in June.

Well, Absynth is abandoned and will not be updated. The only standalones left are Super 8 and Reaktor.lightsfadelow wrote: Tue Jan 10, 2023 5:00 am Oh wow I totally missed that Native Instruments *finally* updated the majority of their line to support AS and the notes about Battery got me to take a look to see that just about everything is now native. But that also means we are also waiting for all of Reaktor's instruments:
- Form
- Kontour
- Molekular
- Monark
- Polyplex
- Prism
- Razor
- Rounds
- Skanner XT
- Spark
- TRK-01 (and Bass and Kick)

You may know this already, but the benefit of other people, Reaktor AS is about ready for beta testing; they are inviting users to join the Centrecode project/forum!teilo wrote: Tue Jan 10, 2023 2:39 pmWell, Absynth is abandoned and will not be updated. That's great to hear. I'm a member of the Komplete Kontrol centercode project, but not Reaktor.PieBerger wrote: Tue Jan 10, 2023 3:22 pm You may know this already, but the benefit of other people, Reaktor AS is about ready for beta testing; they are inviting users to join the Centrecode project/forum!
Speaking of which, Kontrol 2.9.0 is in beta and has native AAX support and better native performance.
