He was one of the all-time greats. He was certainly my favourite of the ex-Yardbirds guitarists.

I am a big fan and saw him play live in Seattle when he played at the Kingdome after Wired was released.

Just saw the news. I didn't realize he was 78. Very sad loss for the music world.
