I'm thinking about upgrading from Standard 10 to Suite 11. I have only a small amount of interest in the upgrade to Suite, so I'm on the fence. What might tip the balance is knowing the usual upgrade price from Ableton Suite 10 to Suite 11. My current Standard 10 to Standard 11 upgrade cost is $175 cdn.

thanks

I'm pretty sure there are no "usual upgrade price". A friend of mine recently went from Live 9 to 11 Suite. Cost him less than £200 iirc. Did you get a price for 11 Suite?

It's 20% OFF for a few more hours. :)

It varies but it's usually about double the cost of a standard upgrade license. Frankly if you don't think you will use M4L and have your own VSTs (don't think you will be using Operator and Sampler etc), I'd just stick with a regular upgrade. I have suite and never even touch Operator or Sampler as I have VSTs that I prefer using anyway. I've only opened M4L a few times to play around with it but never use it other than to tinker.

So if you are on the fence I think skipping it is for the best.

I had Standard 11 and thought I wouldn't upgrade to Suite (again, as I had that situation before!!). Anyway, I did in the end few days ago!
However, I'm glad that I did. It was about $300 (this 20% discount) and can't say it is a cheap upgrade! Anyway, I like a lot Wavetable and I think it is a great synth and very well thought of (design and features). It looks simple but it is not. It is very powerful synth.
I also like the other synths and the additional content (samples). Operator is still a great FM synth and Collision/Tension are great physical modelling synths (from AAS). There are lots of drum kits and they sound very good. There are also good usable basic orchestral instrument.
Of course there are additional effects and utilities (some from Max if not all!) and they are very good and inspiring. Great reverb.

Overall, $300 for all the above? I think it worth the upgrade. You need only few additional synths or instruments, so it keeps things neat and kills most of the GAS in the long run ;)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

GAS is killed when you run out of money. Nothing else can kill it... No income no GAS...; - )
