The synth sound continues to sound after the end of the note

Hi! I ran into an unpleasant problem when using MIDI in multichannel mode when using the ANA 2 synthesizer (version 2.5).
The bottom line is that if the midi melody is split into at least two channels, then on some presets in ANA 2, the sound continues to sound even when the note ends with an unbroken sound. The sound continues to go even when the track is completely stopped.
Everything is random - the sound may sound with interruptions, or it may be continuous. In fairness, I see this only in the ANNA 2 synthesizer. I 'm trying to understand - is the problem in Bitwig or in ANA ? I really like the sound of ANA and I'm upset about this problem. Maybe someone has encountered ?
Here is a video on the problem :

MIDI Signal from sequencer for one note :
Port number + channel number + note number + ON condition
Port number + channel number + note number + OFF condition
If any one of the above is missing, the note will not be off.
The sequencer must send the 'note off' midi event to the VST. If the note off is true.
Check the event editor to see if the event is there (or edited / deleted by mistake)
ANA 2 is one of the very few fast responding synth to midi notes.
Regards.

It looks like you're using FL. Are you importing the midi? On the midi import dialogue box it will default to All Channels, but there's a Dropdown menu that will (sometimes) have the track info labeled. I ran into this with a midi import that had a lead and a bass on it. I figured the import trick and it worked.

I really ran into this problem when exporting midi from FL! That is, I exported a 1-channel melody with a large number of notes in midi, then opened it in Bitwig and split the notes into several channels, that's where the problem described above was found.osiris wrote: Fri Jan 20, 2023 10:54 pm It looks like you're using FL. BUT! This problem is also present with the melody created inside Bitwig. As soon as you break the created melody into 2 channels or more, the sound does not stop on some ANA 2 presets. So I think FL has nothing to do with it.

Thank you for your reply. How do I open "event editor" ? About the fast ANA - well, you see my experience.. The problem arises precisely with ANA and precisely with some presets. I have not encountered this in other synthsmaanga wrote: Fri Jan 20, 2023 1:52 pm MIDI Signal from sequencer for one note :

It could also be the preset. I've noticed a few VST's where the note on triggers the synth and it just keeps playing.

Sounds like a problem of Ana dealing with notes on multiple midi channels. it may not be suited for that.Anatolio wrote: Sat Jan 21, 2023 8:52 amThank you for your reply. Yes, ANA is a headache in this job. If there are several midi channels needed for one ANA preset, you have to produce tracks with the same preset, but strictly on one channel per track. And then it plays as it should. This is definitely a problem of presets, but SOME. Some ANA presets work correctly, some may be buggy like this - they may not stop the sound.osiris wrote: Sat Jan 21, 2023 3:16 pm It could also be the preset. I've noticed a few VST's where the note on triggers the synth and it just keeps playing.

Huh, that’s a weird one, but I’ve never used (or even knew of) the feature that lets Bitwig break up notes to different channels. I just give every instrument its own track.Anatolio wrote: Fri Jan 20, 2023 11:51 am Hi! one midi per 1 track is a classic. But if there is a very complex midi, it is more convenient to decompose it into channels, and already each channel can be thrown into separate tracks (the old-fashioned way), using two devices - "note receiver" +"channel filter", as in the screenshot:zerocrossing wrote: Sat Jan 21, 2023 5:17 pm Huh, that’s a weird one, but I’ve never used (or even knew of) the feature that lets Bitwig break up notes to different channels. It’s a classic because it solved a limitation, but that limitation no longer really exists. To me, what you’re doing seems way more complicated and laborious than just taking the part and giving it its own track, or using a different plugin. I didn’t hear anything that was coming out of Ana that couldn’t be done by a hundred other plugins, or even just using Bitwig’s Grid.Anatolio wrote: Sat Jan 21, 2023 5:26 pmone midi per 1 track is a classic. Synthesizers overlap in similarity, I do not argue. The question of convenience and attractiveness of most sounds "right out of the box". This attracts to Ana.zerocrossing wrote: Sat Jan 21, 2023 6:11 pm It’s a classic because it solved a limitation, but that limitation no longer really exists. About the Bitwig grid - that's an interesting question. Isn't this the lot of programmers or something like that? Will a commercial musician actively use the grid ? And what unique will this grid give if you can open a ready synth and take a cool sound? All experiments with the grid on tutorials look faded for me in terms of commercial EDM music, although I do not dispute that with skillful hands, you can do outstanding things. But why, if there are ready-made synths? If you're a computer geek - OK. The built-in Synth Bitwig polysinph participating in these grids has a mediocre sound, and its use in its pure form-I have no idea where and how it can be done in modern, commercial music.
By the way, it's a pity that all Bitwig branded options, like the expression of notes, work only on Bitwig synths. And thus the coolness of these amazing options is lost. If anyone is offended, I respect all musicians and all styles, I'm just talking about my EDM preferences.

That’s funny, because “mediocre” was my exact thought when I got Ana as a free synth along with something else I bought. I kicked the tires a bit and thought, “nothing special,” and never went back to it. I also don’t really make EDM… or maybe I do and don’t know it. Sometime told me they loved my Electro track I did for their game and I have no idea what Electro is.Anatolio wrote: Sun Jan 22, 2023 6:22 amSynthesizers overlap in similarity, I do not argue. But you have Bitwig, so just spend a few minutes duplicating the part in Grid and see if you can get there. I really only brought it up because I knew you were using Bitwig so it was a no cost option, but there’s stuff like Vital too.

Lots of the Bitwig capability is also starting to work with some plugins... particularly MPE and most recently CLAP plugins that support PolyMod.Anatolio wrote: Sun Jan 22, 2023 6:22 am
