Seems like guitar rig has all the fabulous effects like :
crush pack, mod pack , solid mix series, supercharger gt , reverb classics , solid mix series etc..
When buying these separately it will set you back 610 , while guitar rig is only 200 .
Is there something to be aware of , are these cut down versions of the standalone effects?
This seems to good to be true

I got it as part of Komplete and find it pretty awesome value. Some of the effects you mention are identical in functionality (Solid series, Supercharger gt, Raum), but with a flat UX. I don't have a 1-1 comparison for everything, but they stripped e.g. the modulation section from RC48. On the other hand, there is no shortage of modulation options post or pre reverb you could stack it with. Guitar Rig runs everything in "HQ" mode (oversampling?), so there may be some sound differences to stand alone versions if they don't.

Yeah, it comes with all the goodies. GR6 might not be the king of amp sims but it's a damn good FX chainer/container.

Just be aware that the Guitar Rig does not report latency to a DAW (it is always the same - 0). But there is latency as reported in their forum and Gearspace. People measured GR latency and there is some small delay. Nothing major but sometimes it can build up.
For example, load Dirt as VST effect. 17 samples of latency. Load as many as 10 instances of Dirt in Guitar Rig 6 and it's always zero latency.
Most of the effects are the very same with the same presets and their names.
Their FX are really really good IMO. And Guitar Rig 6 is quite amazing.

I checked Raum and Supercharger XT out of curiosity and the GR versions have all the controls of the stand alone versions.gentleclockdivider wrote: Sat Jan 21, 2023 12:08 pm Seems like guitar rig has all the fabulous effects like :

I find it a bit odd to use the stand-alone prices as a reference. If you want more than just 1 specific product, a bundle always makes more sense. For 599 bucks (possibly half that during sales) you can get Komplete Standard, which includes all those effects, plus GR6 Pro, plus so much more.

I always find something great on Guitar Rig, but it hits my CPU really hard.

Guitar Rig is an amazing fx processor, it’s really hard to believe NI put almost all their goodies into it. Replika XT is, I think, the only stripped down version of a standalone plugin, and a few compressors and EQs aren’t included, afair.
But NI should overhaul the modulation system at some point. It gets the job done, but Arturia‘s LFOs, MSEGs and whatnot are much easier to handle and more powerful. GR with the same level of polish as Coldfire would be quite tasty.

Been playing with the demo and it's indeed pretty nice as an effects rack .

The replika delay has a huge cpu footprint when set to diffusion mode , just as a I remembered from the standaone version .nanostream wrote: Sun Jan 22, 2023 2:04 pm Guitar Rig is an amazing fx processor, it’s really hard to believe NI put almost all their goodies into it. Just because there is a diffuser in the feedback path ?
Vallhalla Delay wins hands down
I think the only compressors-eq's missing are the Softube Premium Tube series ( MAnley massive passive etc...)
