Yes, all tiers. I have the cheapest subscription and I installed and activated it the moment they released the videos on YouTube.
Thx! :tu:

I gave this another go and i still think it's a poor Pro-Q3 clone with feature bloat.

also the UI itself is such a blatant fabfilter ripoff, just without the actual ergonomic UX of fab.

I couldn't agree more.
“In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.”

On the other hand, I was convinced by Kirchhoff to the point of putting my Q3 up for sale. It mostly had to do with resizability - I find Q3 harder to use than Kirchhoff because it can't be resized large enough. Also, I like the additional features of Kirchhoff. Just after posting Q3 for sale, PA announced their thing and opened Forever 29. I took Q3 off the for sale forum, signed up with F29 and got Kirchhoff for $30 and kept Q3. Which is fine with me for now. Now, I will get to see in practice which one I use more and get rid of the other, or keep both.

Just a heads up if you're on Mac OS Ventura: PA states Kirchhoff EQ only supports Mac OS 10.11–12.0 on the product page. Indeed, I experienced that it is unstable on 13.0 (Ventura). E.g. two instances with one set to 2x oversampling will always crash the session. Reported to PA and forwarded to devs, no date known for a fix as of now.

Does anybody know if this EQ supports Pro tools EQ curve graph thats on the mix console?
I love music but more than that, I love making it

I bought it, and I like it but I'm not sure if I need it, like most of my plugins. I keep telling myself I'm done buying EQ's. Same with reverbs. But I can't stop.

... It definitely acted jankey on Ventura, but so did everything for me. Including Logic.

If you have one digital-style EQ with a workflow you love, you probably don't need another, as there seems to be miniscule differences between (most? all of?) them. Then it's just features that you like.

Agreed, imo it's all been baby steps since FF. It's just the next slightly shinier thing.

As an owner of FF Q3 I thought so too, like: Are you serious? Another FF Q3 clone? And then I read the specs and got interested.
The dynamic capabilities are really cool. Bought in. Using it. Don't regret it.
Even now after the buy out of PA it still is a great dynamic eq that I used for months before that. Good investment for me.
ABX is enemy to GAS

It's a great EQ!! Please update to run smoothly on Ventura 13!!

Pro-Q4 must be due soon - Q3 was released 5 years ago which is an eternity in the Plugin world. I would guess that the Dynamics section would get additional controls to be at least on par with the Kirchoff in any major update.

Other than that what else is there to improve upon? Already Scaleable up to Full Screen, text is clearer than the Kirchoff, has the peaks/match facility, overlap of other instances so you can easily see clashes. Doesn't have all the "modelled EQ" types of the Kirchoff but they are just curves and do not add any saturation.

Q3 GUI scaling is pretty bad with only 2-3 fixed maginifications. The largest (not full screen) is still not large enough on my monitor, so there's that. I think Q3 sits right as a purely digital EQ so I'd prefer if they didnt go the route of Kirch with analogue modelling. Saturation, no way.

For me, off the top of my head, the main refinements FF can make to Q3 are around making the GUI more readable, its all just too small even with the main window made larger. Scalable window. Scalable UI elements. Anything to improve the sound quality would also be appreciated as I am sure there is more that can be done from a DSP perspective.
