Questions for those who bought the IK Multimedia's Total Studio 3.5 MAX at 199.99

I mean… their “TOTAL STUDIO MAX” bundle should include the latest of everything.

That's what I'm telling you - it doesn't. There's newer effects too that aren't included.

There's various upgrade options at various points. I imagine Studio Max 4 will be along at some point that gets it all up to date.

It's also worth noting that buying the new plugins separately when they come out usually does not entitle you to a reduced price when it's time to upgrade to the next Total Studio Max version, even if it includes those plugins. So if you're impatient you end up purchasing a bunch of stuff twice. It's better to be patient and just upgrade Total Studio itself when a new version comes out. I mean there's enough stuff in 3.5 to keep you busy until 4.0 comes out even if it's missing some plugins

Best strategy is to update the Total bundle when on sale. Buying single products (which will be included in the next version) in between will be a waste of money. Second hand (paid, not asked for) prices (including their ridiculous transfer fee) are near zero. Just sayin...

Bought it (Total Max 3.5....$199) yesterday and I am Pi@#$%^ed !! half of what they say is included is not !! E.G.....I don't have the option to download Philharmonik 2 and most of the other stuff is locked telling me I have to buy it !!! I have received a serial but I wanted Philharmonik 2 and everything that was promised. The last thing I need is 100 dopey synth sounds from the 80's....I have reached out to them but no response yet. If I don't get what is promised on their website i will pursue this legally and if the same thing happens to you I would encourage the same response...

As far as I remember, I needed some tricks to install Philharmonik 2 properly.

I regret buying this junk. Philharmonik won’t work without finding a workaround, Sampletank won’t load any of the add ons no matter how many times rescan, need a new hard drive just to download everything, 180 day download limit, bloatware installers, ableton won’t load at all with Ik software in templates.
