Squids,
Email has been sent and I look forward to the non-box delivery.
I have one question which I think I know the answer to (no) but I will ask anyway. Is there anything that the SS2 GUI/engine offers that ST2 doesn't? In other words if I just install the sounds will I miss any features?

Finally sent the mail.
I'll just have to eat the SS1 box if I don't like SS2.

Caleb, you could (just an idea) claim to have eaten the box... ;-) I'd never know. You might though. Still, I'd lay odds you won't have to! This sounds like a winner.
The reason I found your post about eating the box? Looking back over previous pages to find that sound listing. Ghawds above and below, what a heap of audio! Just the thought of it's enough to make my fur floof.

Upgrades will ship beginning of next week. We'll do our best to get as many out at a time as we can. I hope you like it!
The interface btw doesn't really do anything ST2's interface doesn't. But, it is simplified and looks sharp.
Listen, if you wanted you could request sounds only and it could ship tomorrow. We're waiting for the main app disc to arrive. The two DVD sound discs are sitting at the office waiting to be had. If you own ST2 and mainly want the sounds and want it fast then this is another option. You could even get the main app disc later if you wanted but you'd have to pay the separate shipping or at least order something else from esoundz later and we'll throw in this disc to tag along on the shipment (of course as long as you ordered it in the first place).
I hate to hold you back from the sounds. So, if you're super anxious you can email sales@esoundz.com and request that it is split up. We can ONLY do this on upgrades or crossgrades (ie. people who are registered owners of Sonic Synth 1 or SampleTank 2 L or XL). All regular orders will have to ship with the full box which will be a couple of weeks (sorry, we're waiting for all of the stuff to arrive and it sometimes isn't at once- especially this busy time of year).

Hehehehe - As much as I'm anxious to get the sounds I couldn't fit them on this computer anyway.
It all must wait, alas, for me to build my new computer.
I'm hoping that's January (or Feb at the latest) but it depends alot upon finances.
I wish I had it now. *sigh*

Squids-
Thanks for the heads up.
I have requested just the sound DvD's and copied your text to them. I have St2xL and SS1 and have no need of the SS2 interface at this time (will get it later with another order as you stated)... Wish me luck and Merry Christmas!!!

Thanks, Squids!
I ordered no box (for now), and I am going to anxiously wait for the new SS2. A new gift for myself at Christmas time.
Cheers and Merry Christmas folks,
Rabban

Hello Squidward,
I am currently away from home and I am almost ready to turn in my proof of ST2 purchase to do the crossgrade. Only problem is I won't be back home to do this till early January. Will the crossgrade still be available then or is Dec 31st a hard expiration date for the crossgrade?

So If I Have Installed SS2 And ST2 then I would need to Authorize Two separate Plugs? But If I run the SS2 Sounds in ST2 will this make life easier Regarding Authorizing? Or is the Authorization On the sound-set itself, I am just wondering if Running Just ST2 would make anything easier? It's just I figure the fewer Plugins I have to update, the Better I like it, So is there any reason to use the SS2 Plug over the ST2 Plug? is it easier to load Multi sounds? or is it purely for those that don't have ST2 already?Squids wrote: quote="Squids"]TheThe interface btw doesn't really do anything ST2's interface doesn't. Oh well I guess I'm too immature for this crowd. Squidward is a reference to Spongebob Square Pants...who lives in a pineapple under the sea.
sorry guess I'm a 33 year old that never grew up
