Working on learning to animate the audio frequencies of several tunes.
Its challenging and several end up in the trash after hours of rendering.
Trash is getting full......

Had a bit of a 'mare over lunchtime. Just connected the modular up only to find out my incoming MIDI clock from the DAW was all over the place and since I use that as my master clock, a major issue. Unfortunately seems my Flame uQMCV is the culprit as I switched over to the Mutant Brain and now the clock is rock steady. Shame, will have to check its warranty.
Now that's sorted though I've been playing more with all these drum and gate sequencer modules I have and my biggest take away is that it's not easy to use controls when they're buried under dozens of patch cables. Someone needs to invent patch cables that can teleport electrons around!
The robaux LL8 is particularly poor for this, no wonder they came out with a v2.
When you have more than 3 or 4 cables plugged in it's really hard to use the sequencing buttons.

Earlier in the week I ordered a MOTU 828es off Reverb since they are back-ordered everywhere(?)
Then I remastered/mixed the last song that is going to be on the next album. I did the old two BD samples on top of one another trick to great effect this time by pitching one down and now I have a 'warmer' and 'fuller' sound than I had before.
I am not going to get into the other things I did, just to think to myself how many years of reading what other people have done mixing and mastering have gone into the current effort.

ADDAC 106 arrived and just managed to squeeze into the case. Well at least there’s that one upside to discovering a module has failed, room for more new shit.
The 106 has 4 separate percussion noise sources and it can make some cool metallic sounds, especially when some unsubtle flanger is thrown into the mix to make cold harsh sounds like knife sharpening.
Think I now need one more pseudo random gate module, considering a Numeric Repetitor to pair with the Zularic, but not sure, I would certainly like to keep it to a small form factor.

yup, it's got a few different utility functions, very handy and Indeed small!
no worries, hope it fits the bill, because im also 80-85% sure it's not overly expensive! (had mine years, so can't remember for sure)

I just realised I could use my external Korg SQ64 sequencer to do the job, it’s got step probability and a sync port I can run from my modular’s clock.

Had a lot of fun tonight mucking about with drums and noise percussion stuff and in particular the BIA and Akemie's Taiko.
Fair to say things got odd.

The WMD Crucible arrived and I just fit it and been playing with it, it's bloody great. Seriously good.
Has (of course) made me now want to get my mitts on the other modules like Fracture and Kraken.
