Backups not working

So I just switched from windows 11 to windows 10, and when I did so I forgot to bring over my song files to one drive. I did realize that I had the backups for all my songs. When I redownloaded and tried to load up these backups, the software keeps crashing. Is this not how the software works? Is there any way that I can get my songs back with the backups?

There is a logfile accessible by clicking Help. The option you want is last on the list - Show me the Waveform log file. Click that, and it'll take you to the folder that contains the log file. It's just a text file, so you can open it and read it. It shows details of what it is doing or trying to do and should have messages about things it fails to do.
Take a look and see if it helps. If not, paste the messages from a failed loading attempt and someone on here may be able to help.
