Uhhh, naw bro.

It’s “free” but you don’t get a download link unless you “donate.” But it doesn’t even tell you which platforms it supports before you do.

So you have to “donate” first before you even know if you can use it.

Look what says "VST3 64 bit"

So I’ll get a refund if it doesn’t work on my M1 Mac?

It's VST3 64-bit. I'm guessing that means no, it won't work on M1 Macs. May not work on any Mac.

Yeah. It would be nice to know the answer before you buy errr, “donate” €5.

these damyfx plugins reek of SynthEdit/SynthMaker by a country mile. no progress made since Dirty Fuzz days from the early 2010's. and the guy announced Dumble amp emulation LOL.. yeah, good luck with that..

sorry I don't understand what your problem is, even with synthedit you can create excellent plugins, the important thing is that it sounds good regardless of the development tool used, then clearly I won't use it to create an amp simulator

no, you can't, and even if you were a talented Efflam Le Bivic (Mokafix Audio), who was capable of creating wonders from absolute shit, his SE plugins ended up not being resource-efficient, because SE is such a piece of hot garbage. it's also why he abandoned SE altogether and the promising virtual instruments like Blue Reeds Wurlitzer piano, because of SE being very taxing on processing power. because SE has crappy optimization, you can't do shit with it. and Efflam was and still is a talented coder who knows his stuff.

I just don't get it, why are we even talking the ever lame SynthEdit in 2023? I mean, in 2023, still, SynthEdit, are you kidding me? it's a huge, dried up mammoth's crap from the days of my grand grand grandma. it should be gone like a bad nightmare, long forgotten, never to be approached again, not even with a ten-foot pole. today the developers should invest their time to learn more efficient coding languages and that is true, my friends.

also, which "excellent" plugins are made with SE? a few I can think of, SE is not used for the sound engine. OP-X Pro II uses SE, but only for the parts of the interface, not for the actual DSP. same for Gunnar's Memorymoon synths, only interfaces, not the DSP.

SE is also the reason why OP-X Pro interface is still a such a clumsy, terrible mess. it lingers from probably around 2005 or 2006 with that obsolete SE framework, because the developer hasn't put any goddamn effort to learn anything new since. in other case, we'd get a normal interface, not this abomination. but no, 17 years gone, we still have the same old shit and it probably will be just the same 17 years from now.

anyone who still uses SE in this day and age is just a lazy caveman living under a rock. that's all from me.

This was made with SynthEdit?

The KVR product database does not show it being made with SynthEdit. It if was, the product info needs to be updated to show that, along with any other DamyFx that were made with SynthEdit.

this guy seems a scam to me. he won't post normal system requirements information on his website, so you nearly had to extort OS info from him to simply know if his plugins would work in your environment, he keeps quiet about SynthEdit used for his plugins, and the reason is simple. because if people know the truth, no one would give a flying rats ass about all of this outdated rubbish that reeks of mothballs.

after all, if in this day and age you want a good chorus, a good reverb, and even a decent Dumble amp plugin, there are far better options available within a mouse click. and that is the truth, my friends.

If it was made with SynthEdit, it needs to have this tag in the KVR product database:

If it was made with SynthMaker, it needs to have this tag:

I see several older DamyFx plugins have the SynthMaker tag.
Has this changed for newer plugins?
