Hi,

Would it be possible to change the height/size of the loop start and loop end markers?
The loop start marker has to be moved out of the way before the start point can be edited, same with the end points (only while in loop mode, of course)

The above suggestion is a good idea I think.

As a long shot, click and drag up/down to zoom in and out of the waveform would be ace too

yeah I agree, I find this a bit irritating too, maybe if one drag handle was at the top and one at the bottom, I'll have a chat with Patrick about it and take a look at how other samplers are handling this. Zoom is currently set to mouse wheel right or a normal surface drag on the Apple mouse?

Yeah, mouse wheel to zoom.

In Kontakt, the S/E and LS/LE markers are on the same line, but the S/E markers are always on top. You can only move the S/E marker from it's label, and the LS/LE markers by grabbing the vertical line above the label. You can also move the loop around which is super useful, esp for drum loops.



Falcon has the same behaviour as Tal-Sampler where you will always pickup the loop marker if they overlap with the S/E markers. The labels do not overlap but they missed an opportunity to make the functionality better.



Kontakt is definitely the better of these two in terms of usability. Also, the coloured elements (S/E and Loop) makes it very easy to quickly visually identify what is going on.

strange with Falcon that they have the S/L R/E in different positions vertically which if you'd carried that through would mean you could have grabbed the label as a handle for the one you want to move. I definitely would prefer some method which means I can grab the one I want without moving a default "on top" first. If you had the loop start/end at the top and start/end at the bottom (or vice versa) you could easily grab the one you want, in Bitwig it's this way with a nice big handle you can grab, nothing defaults to on top because it doesn't need to. The markers for each are also different colours. This is the best, and most intuitive workflow I've used.

OK the markers will now have an offset so you can grab whichever you wish, update will be in a couple of days so keep an eye on the current versions sticky post. I'll update this thread too though.
Loop drag is on the list but may come later.
