Izotope RX 10 gating?

Hello forum,
I'm pulling my hair out. Here's my issue:
I'm editing a regular series of interviews for a news podcast, the format is 2 track interview.
I'm using RX 10 but have hit a wall. I use the Leveler plugin to, well, level my audio one track at a time. The issue is, being an interview there are alternating breaks in the dialogue which I want to remove. Now this is a fairly straight forward process in a DAW - remove silence tool/set up a noise gate. But I'd like to do that within RX and I can't find a way. I can't be messing about with importing into Logic just to remove silence. Running the leveler pushes all the gaps in dialogue up to the max which is of course undesirable. Is there a gate/remove silence tool in RX 10 that I haven't found?
Help!
Thanks.

Best bet is to scan your plugins folder and then you can use a third party gate using the Plugin tool.
nb - Waves plugins don't show up in RX.

If I remember correctly you actually use De-noise (spectral or vocal denoise) to do this in RX10.georgecolwey wrote: Wed Jan 18, 2023 5:02 pm Hello forum,

Edit: Also I find RX to be pretty overkill for most basic audio tasks. Have you considered something like Audacity or Adobe Audition. They are a bit easier to use than RX imo.

Thanks for your suggestion, ended up using third party gate as mentioned above. I like running raw audio through RX just for initial levelling and cleanup before going in on a hard edit. Makes life more enjoyable when working with material recorded by audio n00bs on their laptops which seems to be the standard these days!apoclypse wrote: Thu Jan 19, 2023 4:32 amIf I remember correctly you actually use De-noise (spectral or vocal denoise) to do this in RX10.georgecolwey wrote: Wed Jan 18, 2023 5:02 pm Hello forum,
