HI,
first : i can´t find a support email on ILOKs page.
you know the support email ? (edit: ok, after some surch, it seems.......they don´t want us to mail.....)

Or, need hand please: ( mac / ventura)
- i just migrated my mac system to a new Mac.
ILok shows now the new PC with the name of the old one, (so, same name)
while i will keep the old one around for a while.
- i know its not a problem for ILOK itself, but it rubs me !

i just renamed my new PC now.
Now, how to make ILOK to adapt to that new name too ?

I just went through that as well, took like 15 minutes to transfer around 300gb. Amazing, until I discovered the same problem as you. I never figured it out. Deleting ilok and reinstalling did nothing. I ended up erasing everything and did the Time Machine again but this time I excluded applications, though transferring apps is the really cool part about it. I would love to know if there’s a real solution to this. I hoped I could use Time Machine to easily keep my mini and my MacBook in sync, but apparently not, at least not in the way I hoped.

If you're talking about iLok licenses associated with the machine, rather than an iLok dongle, then deactivate them from the license manager, returning them to the pool of unused licenses, then reactivate them on the new machine.

oh, and best to deactivate them before migrating files to a new machine so it doesnt appear you're trying to bypass the ilok system...

yeah, but if you don´t know that ?
i mean: its all so easy with i-lok, so one would never care. ;) Set and forget, haha.

i deal here with zwo USB i-lok sticks btw.
and: nearly lost the few licences i had directly on my old computer. Cause i forgot that i had ! So, i had to contact the support on that.

so easy to just to forget on such small details ;)....dealing nowadays with hundreds of -complex- plugins. next: ;)

thanks for the feedback anyway !
