re the op though, i wouldn't mind him wanting to do a personal version, that's fine. it's the belittling others input, which as much as the lyrics, gave the album and band, their sound.
we've all seen the behind the scenes footage, we know it was an organic process over months of gigging, each member contributing to the whole.
it's not like he turned up in the studio and gave them all sheets to work from.
