Antiloop - In My Mind lead

Damn, I remembered another banger from the 90s that I haven't heard in a long time.
This lead sounded hard in 1998. The perfect combination of the underground sound with the commercial one.
How to do something similar? I only hear a lot of glide effect but applying it to the saw wave doesn't have any similar effect.
I found a complete midi file with the sheet music for this track, but I'm not sure if it's as perfect as the original.
It seems to me that it is a bit distorted if you copy this melody to a piano roll to try find presets that may sound similar.

Using an orchestral hit sample from some 90s rompler works better on the top layer.CHOOS wrote: Wed Feb 01, 2023 9:53 pm Antiloop - In My Mind.zip
1st bar midi + preset but I would remove the top layer(top octave) and replace it with a vocal chop.
And the MIDI notes are not correct. There should be an F# note just before the 4th beat, and some 16th note swing should be applied to get the groove right.

Yes definitely missed that one note.
Full midi now attached. and removed one osc in the patch.
Just use a separate layer for the bass with a saw

Thanks. What made a big difference was raising the pitch by 12 semitones in the first oscillator, disabling hold and sustain in the envelope and adding a few effects.
I only used one oscillator and set the envelopes a bit differently and maybe that's why the effect was not satisfactory despite increasing the glide effect.

Oh yeah always play around to make it better. I always post rough estimates because I can spend hours sometimes making stuff exactly how I want it so I'll leave that up to you

Don't know if it will help but the documentary about the track is really giving me old school memories!
Partly in Swedish but also English!

The bassline goes to B in the second half of 4th bar.
