What kind of Funk music is this?

Hey guys,

I stumbled upon this brilliant video by Andrew Huang and Dave from 8 years ago. All the music in the video is pretty cool, but I'm particularly interested in their "Funk" genre demo (link below, at 00:40).

However, although it definitely sounds funky, it different from what will show up in a quick google search. It's faster and the guitar solo has shorter notes. So I'm wondering if it is a particular subgenre of Funk music?

Funk subcategory = Parody.

You linked to a video where they race through 26 genres, all in the same tempo for the sake of racing through them without interruption.

It's definitely funk, but just a bit too fast. Guitar solo? I hear mainly clavinet, guitar is reduced to muted strum sounds.
