Hey guys! I just got a new PC which has the following storage - 256GB Nvme (system drive), Crucial MX 500 (Fl studio installed), WD green 480gb, and a WD Blue 1tb HDD.
Where do you suggest I keep my VST plugin dlls, audio samples, and backup folders for best performance and stability?
Really looking forward to your suggestions as I am currently setting things up (in terms of allocating file paths and installing plugins)
Thanks in advance
Need help to decide ideal file setup

Install os+programs on ssd, samples on 1 tb and record to 480 gb.
- good to separate mostly reading and writing on different disks
- it's physical movements of heads on cylinders that can be minimized
See to that samples disk is defragmented for best performance.
