What are the best synth - 90s trance goa techno

What is the best synth to make high quality sound, like real good quality.
I have cubase.

I like 90s trance goa techno and so. It sound full rich powerful. Deep wide and not phasey.

I want make thick sound best on software.

yup, indeed.
but according to the recent "is massive dated" it was mentioned as the sound of the 90s

someone also mentioned it was used on sgt pepper. but i think they may have been taking the piss

TAL-U-NO-LX, Massive and Kick2 are the best combo for 90s goa trance

You also need Tantra for FX, Timeless 3 for delay, Blackhole for reverb.

You could try Arturia's MS-20 V or Korg's own MS-20V2 emulations and for the SH-101, there is Lush by D16, TAL Bassline by TAL or Roland's own SH-101 emulations.

If none of those are to your liking, well best you start saving your pennies for some hardware then Behringer's MS-1 is an affordable alternative to the SH-101, around £300 on the UK 2nd hand market, and you can buy a Korg MS-20 Mini for around £450-500 new.

Roland juno, Roland jd800, Roland sh-101 all very much use then but unfortunately nothing on software I heard yet is close to the same depth and phase/wide of the originals. I think it must be da/ad converters I don't know because 99% of modern soft synth lack this

With synths it is exactly the same. We have a "one synth only" challenge: make a song using one free synth. Amazing results.

If you cannot make a track using only (for example) Synth1, then you must try really Really REALLY harder.

The Softube 101 is nice. Arturia's MS-20 is right on the money too.

I don't understand the argument of this all...Everyone has different opinion on what is good, Whether modern or vintage you can make anything sound like anything so what is the best synths should be the least of your concerns.

Better to concentrate on learning music & becoming better at it no matter what the genre. Too many think a 'huge fat sound' coupled with wild FX automation is where it's at but most that just ends up being a continuous sound effect.

Amazingly I find a ton of old tracker music from over 20 years ago blow away much 'modern' in musicianship they just had cheap samples that's what all there was then with grim machines as well.

I started in 1975 bought a no-name bass guitar & cheap transistor guitar amp as could not afford a real bass amp & before I was 15 I had learned the bassline to 'Groovin' by the young rascals by playing 45 record over & over all in 'very low rez'...Learning was hard & expensive by 1982 I was playing a MusicMan Fretless & had been in many bands that went nowhere.

Nowadays theres tons of tuts on YT & many other but very few learnin' anything mostly create new genres that are more watered down than ever before.

Just remember that Hans Zimmer on Rebirth (or any old tracker) is gonna leave any newbie 'plinker' on modern Ableton or Bitwig or FL...Etc...way behind.
