Hi guys, i need some sage advice from you peeps..

so turns out i am eligible for a student discount on Gullfoss.. i wanted to know if anyone knows whether a student discount can be used on top of the black Friday deal, or is 50% off the best it can ever get and i can't club both of them.

i wanted to send them a mail and ask, but i was worried that they might fix the glitch if it wasn't pointed out to them already.

Most companies do not allow you to stack student discounts. $99 already looks like a steal for this VST, cheaper than you get on black friday.

It’s not a “discount” as in like a code you use at checkout, it’s academic pricing that you gotta email them school documentation to get.

So that right there to me means theres probably not some system glitch that would let you use a discount code on an already discounted price that you could exploit or they could fix once brought to their attention.

You’re probably safe emailing them and asking if qualifying for the academic pricing would lower the general public sale price further.

Both Arturia and Celemony do something similar to this. Arturia’s loyalty discount price is lowered further (I assume proportionally) whenever they have a general sale like during BF, and Celemony discounts their update prices (kinda sorta the same-ish in my mind, discount on top of a discount?).

so turns out, the code they provide can be redeemed anytime I want. So, i think ill just wait for a few more months and give it a try. if nothing else, ill get 50% off anyway.

The lowest possible price for Gullfoss is 99USD + tax. This can be obtained with the academic discount. Other coupons/discounts cannot be combined.
