Hi guys. Im interested to get juno ds because of its performance mode and ability to load xv5080 sound banks

Have some questions though

1) Velocity split
In Korg combi mode, each part I can specify the velocity trigger from 0-127. If I set say 80-127, only pressing very hard the part will trigger. Can u do that in the ds?

2) expansion
Im reading conflicting opinions, one guy on youtube say it can only load one roland expansion at one time, another guy said it can load few at same time. Who is correct?

3) if it can load few expansions at same time, can you mix presets from different expansions in performance mode? I remember my Alesis QS7, it wasn’t possible

Any help is greatly appreciated

I'm pretty sure the Juno DS does not do velocity split.

Juno DS can only load one EXP expansion at a time (those are the expansions that add new wave data). I don't know how it handles the XP expansions (those are the ones that simulate the XV-5080 sounds using the board's existing wave data).

The board you probably really want is a Fantom-0. It has the XV-5080 sound set, it does velocity splits, and you can load lots of expansions simultaneously.
