Who cares I'm two weeks late in posting this followup...Beardedone wrote:Besides as a guitar player Country is essential if you play any gigs that are broad based in set lists.
Do you know that Clint Black track Ode to Chet? Lots of good picking on that one.
(Amazon has used copies of that CD for $0.49. Worth it just for that track.)

I was motivated to stick my neck out and suggest this competition, in memory of John Peel - a better example of a music lover you could scarcely hope to find. Anyone in any way acquainted with a John Peel show, and the scope of material contained therein, played purely because 'I like this! listen!', should know what I'm struggling to convey.

Hmmm...
I definitely like the sound of this contest. (No time limit! I can actually do a song!)
...the only problem is that I have no real idea what it was that got me into music. As far as I can remember it's just always been there...and always been fantastic.
...so what do I do?
Anyone else having this problem?
Hmmm...
