According to this article from Roland, that arp from "Rio" was performed on the Jupiter 4. That synth has already been emulated by Cherry Audio in the "Mercury-4", so maybe one of the other Jupiter models?

I'd guess JP8 based on the video and their desire to have all the classics in their catalog, but I think a better fit for them is the JP6, and I'd prefer them to that over the '8, personally. At least there aren't many other JP6's around, and that should have some appeal to them, as they like somewhat leftfield, less popular synths...

JP8.
I wish someone would do a modern Arp Soloist emulation though....

Same here. JP8 has already been emulated by both Aturia (the updated, reworked version is really good) and TAL. No one has done a JP6 emulation as far as I'm aware.beely wrote: Sun Feb 26, 2023 6:38 pm I'd guess JP8 based on the video and their desire to have all the classics in their catalog, but I think a better fit for them is the JP6, and I'd prefer them to that over the '8, personally. Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care
