I was going by the outline of the illustration in the video which has the same shape as a JP8. Also the blank area on the left is similar to the control panel on the JP8. Or just JP6 too. we shall see... ! Softube's SH101 is a very good emulation of it by the way.

While I was hoping it wouldn't be a Roland (kind of Rolanded out at the moment) - they did mention 41H in the description and that is Roland for sure, and if MIDI is the big clue, then it's either the JX-3P or the Jupiter 6. The MTV connection makes me think of shiny, glossy, poly synths, and that's JP8 for sure. Really strongly hoping it's not another Jupiter-8 though.

I'd guess JP8 based on the video and their desire to have all the classics in their catalog, but I think a better fit for them is the JP6, and I'd prefer them to that over the '8, personally. At least there aren't many other JP6's around, and that should have some appeal to them, as they like somewhat leftfield, less popular synths...

Same here. JP8 has already been emulated by both Aturia (the updated, reworked version is really good) and TAL. No one has done a JP6 emulation as far as I'm aware.

Roland Cloud has the 4 and 8, but not the JP6 (not yet anyway).

Silly me was more focused on the visuals and not the audio. That mod sound, sounds like a Prophet 5 to me (owned many) although its a bit bright but could have been juiced up with EQ.

The dimension in the video definitely make it look like a Jupiter. I'd rather it be a Jupiter-6, but I think it will be a Jupiter-8.
