Info about using Cakewalk daw.
To just listening to the patterns and sounds, i made a continous note over one bar and looped that bar.
On the same track as the plugin.
Then use play in the daws transport.
It sounds fine.

Great! I think instead of the note you can also just switch input to "File" mode and use some of the built in midi files.Saffran wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 3:10 pm Info about using Cakewalk daw.

Hello
If I understood correctly, it is possible to use Eon as an insert on an instrument track, as an "arpeggiator effect".
Is that right?
Because I can only use Eon by creating an instrument track with an associated midi track...
Thanks a lot to the one who will answer me.
All the best

I want to use EON-Arp swing and effects section etc with another vst synth as it has some useful effects that a vst synth may not - possible? It would just be easier to change those things in EON-Arp. Things like filter and resonance, swing etc. I have not downloaded it yet but it looks amazing, especially for free. I watched the two videos. Thanks. If I had to use the vst synths effects it would take a lot of setting up for each vst synth just to try the sounds presets.

thanx for this! and nice to see it both silicon-ready, and as a midiFX in logic
will explore it this weekend...

It's not possible, sorry... - EON is either an instrument that outputs MIDI/Audio or a MIDI FX.Louspatte wrote: Fri Mar 10, 2023 5:31 pm Hello

If I understand you correctly - you can definitely have EON send MIDI out (with your swing setting and all that) into another synth, but you can't have EON control sound parameters like cutoff/resonance on the target synth.hope4ever wrote: Fri Mar 10, 2023 5:57 pm I want to use EON-Arp swing and effects section etc with another vst synth as it has some useful effects that a vst synth may not - possible? For that you need to open the target synth UI/automation parameters and change that.
Personally that's something I like to do with my physical MIDI controller, like mapping cutoff/resonance so I don't need to see the synth UI just to touch the common parameters...
Glad you liked it!fisherKing wrote: Fri Mar 10, 2023 6:30 pm thanx for this! and nice to see it both silicon-ready, and as a midiFX in logicwill explore it this weekend...

using this as a midi FX plugin in logic pro; i've barely scratched the surface. but am having a LOT of fun with it (especially using the (music) keyboard to record switching patterns. will get a lot of use out of Eon, thanks for it!

I have a one bar loop in daw.
I choose a preset from the top menu.
The 6th box in the row of patterns is always selected as I switch presets.
If I select another box/pattern in the row, each time the loop starts again, it jumps back to the 6th box.
How can I prevent this behavior?

I think that's because your MIDI input might have a super low note (below C1) in there that triggers it?Musical Gym wrote: Thu Mar 16, 2023 6:50 am I have a one bar loop in daw.

We do intend to make those keyswitches programmable in the future, but I guess for now you can just remove that note from the MIDI loop?
