hello,
i have a strange behaviour of cubase 12
I have a heavy project for my computer,
I ran it @4096 buffer size + asio guard high, the project had a lot of vsti and i had some drop outs while the playback which is expected no problem at this point, so i decided to freeze all the vst instruments.
but then here the really weird things that s illogical for me => once the vst instruments were freezed the project doesnt playback anymore and what s more illogical is that i can playback the project if i reduce the buffer size from 4096 to 2048?
do you have an explanation? regards

Sounds like a bug. Restarting Cubase and the computer gives the same behaviour?
Ps. I gave up on freezing (in any daw) a long time ago. Bouncing to audio (then disabling the source track) in Cubase is more efficient and problem (bug) free.
