So, Steinberg kicked off a 40% discount on Cubase today.
The best price available to me for Pro V12 is a competitive crossgrade at $186.50, which is significantly less than the price of upgrade from Elements, which I have.

I know that in the past, you could buy a license from a third-party vendor and not register it until Cubase released a version that pleases you. I've read that there won't be a Cubase 12.5, and am willing to wait for Cubase 13. Which should be this summer (maybe?), since 12 was released a year ago, and I'm assuming that they need to generate some new income.
Does anybody know whether Steinberg has closed off this path?
Delaying Cubase registration?

I don't know if it's changed, but can confirm it has worked until now. You could always drop them a line, nothing to lose after all.

Thanks! I guess I'll give them a ping. Fortunately, it's not a huge rush, since the deal lasts until 03/28.noiseboyuk wrote: Thu Mar 02, 2023 6:14 am I don't know if it's changed, but can confirm it has worked until now. You could always drop them a line, nothing to lose after all.
