Does anyone have any idea what synth used Maurice Jarre in Jacob's Ladder (1990 fillm) to make this "bell-sytnth" effect (start at 1:21)?
monks singing (for me) is very similar to the preset from Emulator II.
Synclavier? Fairlight? - cheked them( Arturia VST and youtube's revier) but did not find similar.

The drone sounds like a pitched down sample so it could be anything. Don't forget also that back in the day samplers often included resampled versions of other samplers samples.
I tried to read the back cover of the original vinyl release online but it wasn't there. Only synth I've heard his name connected to was the EMS VCS3 so that's no help.
Maybe you will get lucky and Micke on Vintage Synth Explorer is still around.
