I’ve had a Quad preamp and a Mark V.
I tried all boogie plugins and non hit the spot.
This does.
This feels like a Boogie.
This is the most authentic Boogie emu i’ve tried, by far. Cleans, crunches and the gooey drive. This is it.
Great cabs as well. Wish there were a 1x12 combo there tho :)

Yea, sounds promising. I haven't found my Mesa sim yet either, not that I would've been going through all of them though. But won't try this right now...can't afford it yet, so better for me to not even go there before being ready.

I totally thought the shopkeeper was going to show the guy a mogwai.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Don't demo it if you don't want to buy it if you're a mesa fan.

I've tried:
IK boogie
ML Soundlab ML-5
Mercuriall ReAxis
IK tonex (promising but you don't get boogie behaviour and GEQ and shit)

I generally use an external IR when comparing them so the cab is out of the equation (although neural cabs are fineeeeee)

None of these prompted me to buy it, but this one is a Mesa Boogie at heart.

I downloaded the demo, sounds sweet and it definitely gets on my next purchase list. They're having "guitar month" and 50% off over at TH-U Overloud, no sales at Neural DSP in the near future?

Post

Not guaranteed, but they usually have sales around Easter, Black Friday and Xmas.

Post

Thanks! Easter is not that far away, I'll try to wait and see if it gets on sale first

I am curious to compare it to Amplitube.
I like Amplitube Mesa Boogie sims, so don't think I will need more MB sims.
