OP sounds 100% legit to me - I doubt he'd start this thread if he wasn't. And how is he not appearing interested in getting it sorted?

But if I was him I was super-pissed for them to - at the very least - steal my time like this and treating me like a criminal even though I paid good money for their products just because things somehow seem to somehow got messed up in some way.

The interesting thing is that companies who managed to attract a kind of cult-following tend to get away with despicable actions their followers would want to stone everyone else for.

remember there is always two sides to every story and if true that the whole account was locked there would be more than one instance of suspicious activity or complaints i suspect.

the big red flag is op stating 'buying and selling of licenses as we all do'... that is definitely not a common practice and that statement is more of an attempt to shore up sympathy or support for their side of the issue if in fact there IS an issue.

Ive bought and sold the same plugins more than once, including ones by Fabfilter. I dont think its a common practice, but its not exactly unknown. We've had folk here who made a years-long habit of it.

never said there was an ulterior motive... just that it throws up flags... hence my full statement. i do not know both sides of the story nor do i want to know both sides. it is not my problem. i do not buy used licenses nor do i sell unused licenses but i HAVE lived long enough to have seen many try to ruin another out of a perceived slight. so again... many red flags here.
